Super Mario - by Rafael Rudnicki

It’s hard to say goodbye to a great season of SNL (and Kristen Wiig!), so let’s keep the laughs perpetually moving in a loop with these twenty GIFs of Weekend Update characters and anchors.
Elder Scrolls Online announced! An MMO set in the world of Skyrim
We’ve been hearing rumors, but it’s finally set in stone. It’ll be made by Zenimax Online Studios. It’s the first time an Elder Scrolls game has been more than a single player game. There are very little details about it thus far, but I’m sure there will be more information coming soon, and definitely at E3.
EDIT: The Elder Scrolls Online is currently scheduled to be released in 2013 for Mac and PC and takes place 1000 years before the events of Skyrim on the entire continent of Tamriel.
“Meow”, the world’s most famous 39-pound cat, passed away today. Let’s honor him by remembering that he was part of another meme: this hilarious falling bear photo.
It’s not just for morons
If you have Portal 2 for PC, you should already have updated your game to receive the free DLC “Perpetual Testing Initiative”.
This DLC is an in-game editor [found under the community menu option on the Portal 2 title screen], that has an extremely attractive interface that is nothing short of kawaii. Some have even compared the UI style to the delicious decadent appearance of a CAKE [not shown in post].
With Steam Workshop, you can upload your custom maps for the entire multiverse [infinite earths with an infinite number of apertures] to download and play.
So now that you’re aware, log on, make some test chambers, and eat some cake! [still not shown in post].
What Mortal Kombat 9 Could Have Looked Like
NetherRealm Studios had hired Vincent Proce to come up with concept art for an upcoming MK game. He created intricate backstories for the characters he drew, influenced by “modern multiplayer and dismemberment game design”.
“Scorpion as a wraith wearing the yellow blood of the demon that helped him resurrect to exact his revenge against his mortal enemy.”
“Raiden as a god whose feet rarely touch the ground.”
“Sonya, the daughter of a Texas Ranger whose sex appeal weakens her opponents while her Special Forces training kicks their asses.”
“Kano, half Japanese half US military bad ass.”
“Here is Sub Zero how I envision him. I haven’t worked out much of his back story other than that he was a part of the Way of the Frost Dragon, an honorable secret society of warriors that were direct enemies with the ninja organization Scorpion was a part of before he was killed by Shang Tsung (disguised as Sub Zero).”
Though he departed from the studio, he was commissioned for art to be contributed to the actual MK9 that came about. You can find his character designs for MK9 here and also see which ideas he came about by himself and which were brought about by the studio.
